Typically the student completes NRS 411 before or during the term of NRS 410A. The online course utilized was developed by Yale School of Public Health.

Examples of online activities include case-based learning , asynchronous discussions of forum topics, weekly quizzes, midterm and final, epidemic curve exercise/project.
